New to Boards Wheel Horse 857

Hello all, new to the boards, just picked up a 857 for 125$, its in good shape and looks like everything is there, the ID plate has T-857 and the serial # is 306723, do these #'s mean anything, what can I find out about the tractor from this? it has a Kohler 8 hp, thanks, will post some pics when the rain here stops, Tom

Your 857 a 1967 857 4-Speed with a Kohler K181S-30108D 8-speed transaxle model #5053 which should look similar to this one
