TT-(Moderator) 1,129 #2 Posted October 24, 2010 The cast aluminum headlight "bucket" was used from 1967 up into the early 80's. I'm sure there are plenty of used ones - and possibly some NOS - around yet. The lens for that style light is still available new from Toro, but it's a much cheaper-to-produce part with the graphics applied to the back as a sticker. If you could figure out how to reproduce the old lens (with the chrome-plated horse head and indentations) then you might be on to something. One of our members is already reproducing a lot of the parts that are tough to find from the OEM and/or used. http://www.wheelhorseforum.com/index.php?showforum=
mavfreak 11 #3 Posted October 24, 2010 I think there would be some want for them but maybe not enough of a demand
lae51967 14 #4 Posted October 25, 2010 Thanks for the info, the last time I needed either one it took some doing to get one. I didn't know the dealers still has them. Guess I'll look for some other tractors that you can't find parts for.
