formariz 12,045 #1 Posted October 19, 2010 I have been looking for one of these for a while so when one showed up on Ebay right around the corner I couldn't pass it up.All for a whopping $11.50. Can't believe how nice it cuts right off the bat with no adjustments . Does anyone have any tips on tuning this up?

KC9KAS 4,744 #4 Posted October 20, 2010 Reel mowers do an excellent job of cutting grass , but a cigarette butt or a small twig can stop the reel from spinning (cutting ), so you will need to keep an eye out for junk like this in your yard. You did get a reel (Ha Ha) bargin!
VinsRJ 723 #5 Posted October 20, 2010 Those look like Penn Reels used for a Panzer. Nice score!

Buzz 502 #7 Posted October 20, 2010 Cas, the Wheel Horse model number is SGM-603. There are a couple of pdf files in our manuals group 5_1. Here's the link: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/wheelhorsetr...nuals5_1/files/ You can also download a 62 page manual from toro on the various reel and sickle bar mowers. It's not the best quality but may be helpful. Go here: https://lookup3.toro.com/request/request.cfm Put RM-425 for model number and "none" for serial number. Thanks to Garry West for this info.
