CasualObserver 3,411 #1 Posted October 15, 2010 Anyone else ever see a sad old Wheel Horse sitting somewhere and try to take an artsy picture? This is a 603 I stalked for three years before I was able to finally buy it.
VinsRJ 723 #2 Posted October 15, 2010 Cool pic! Now what makes an owner say to him or hreself, "I'm done", and park it right there for years?
stevasaurus 23,281 #3 Posted October 15, 2010 Jason, I think that Wheel Horses are the most photogenic tractors out there. They look good freshly painted, totally weathered, in pieces, grown into trees sitting in the snow, upside down in the pond, etc. They just don't take a bad picture. :wh:

WH Raider10 17 #5 Posted October 15, 2010 I'm in the same situation,I know a wheelhorse sitting under a tree without cover for allready 2 years. It's 2 minutes of my home,it was the second wheelhorse with Kohler engine I ever saw where I live. I asked the owner last year that he wanted to sell it but he said me he still uses it to mow the lawn,NOT! It's still sitting on the exact same spot. Sad to see... Anyway, very nice pic!

Figure out how much you would pay for it. Go over there with the money sticking out of your hand so he can see it. Ask him" Now do you want to sell it?" He just might. :wh:

hcminis 1,700 #22 Posted October 17, 2010 Darn it, I broke a nail... Uhhhhh...you don't know how true that statement is with her Grasshopper. My dad can't mow because of a really bad back. So, mom does all the mowing and weadeating. Thus, she has a tendency to break the old Hopper A LOT!....LOL BUT, she does a great job. OH, better not make her mad because she might be little but full of dynamite.
