dobeleo 7 #1 Posted October 15, 2010 See the below pics, will this fit on my 312-A? Dont know any more about it, would have to drive an hour to see it. What wears on these things, what should I check for? I am checking on the model number. Thanks all for your input!
Trouty56 567 #2 Posted October 15, 2010 This looks like it may be made for the tractors that do not have the hoop type pto clutch on the side of the engine. Looks like it would fit a tractor from the 60's. Heck I could be wrong though. It has that extra rod that the one I have doesn't have. I assume that is the engagement rod. It doesn't have the tach-o-matic setup either. Looks like too small of a shaft. Jeez like I said I could be wrong and it might work OK. These guys make things work all different ways...lol. TT-(Moderator) 1,162 #4 Posted October 15, 2010 No big loss...... It wasn't the correct thrower for the 312 anyhow.
HankB 16 #5 Posted October 16, 2010 Is that the one listed in Downer's Grove? I asked the seller and he told me: Model: ST-326 Tractor: 876 Short answer - no it won't easily fit a 312. Otherwise I would have bought it for my 314-H for the princely sum of $75. -hank
