sgtsampay 117 #1 Posted October 15, 2010 Hi all. Here is my second Wheel Horse. I got it because it was only $75 and the tranny shifts and works.. I also got an electric actulator that I took apart and cleaned up and should work. Anyway, Enjoy the pictures. This is all seized up.. I don't think that engine is a standard issued one for wheel horse.. Heck, I never knew that a OHV cast iron engine was even made back then. LOL. It also has a compression leak when you turn the flywheel..

sgtsampay 117 #7 Posted October 15, 2010 So gwgdog66, do you think that engine is worth repaired and getting back to a running state? Dang, i didn't know it was a 16HP. LOL. Nice.. Now, how come my friend's 12Hp kohler is a bigger engine? Yet this one makes more power?

sgtsampay 117 #12 Posted October 16, 2010 So can you guys tell me if I'm correct into thinking its a 1968 raider? Also, I can't fine any serial numbers on it. Where would they be? Lastly, is this motor worth getting running again? Thanks..
Kelly 1,033 #13 Posted October 16, 2010 Look for the ID tag under the dash right in front of the shifter, I think it's a 68 or 69, leaning to a 68 from the hood decals, I can't remember if that was the one they used in 69 or not. and on the engine if you don't have the rest of the parts they can get expensive like the solid state coils!!!!
