Greg Parnell 6 #1 Posted October 15, 2010 I've searched and did my share of research and have come up empty handed so it's time to ask the experts for help. Should there be a bushing for the steering shaft where it goes through the the gas tank? A little voice in the back of my head tells me there should be but I can't find one to fit. I'm about ready to not put one in and go on with the work. It's the little things like this that gets me.... Thanks
Eriks Red horse herd 43 #2 Posted October 15, 2010 Greg there should be a nylon bushing for all aluminum gas tank models. I make my own & turn them on a lathe.

Don1977 604 #4 Posted October 15, 2010 The old rear engine Snappers used a lot of nylon bushings. You might find one that will work.
