Front Wheels for 551

I am picking up my first Wheel Horse this weekend. It is a 1961, 551 and the front wheels appear to need replacement. Are new replacement wheels available or do I need to find used wheels?

I am also going to need the heat shield that mounts just to the right and below the dash. Who is reproducing these heat shields?

I am sure I will have plenty of questions as I make progress.

Had to buy a parts tractor to get my wheels. Was cheaper and had a few other parts that could be used on the 550 ( same as your 551 on a 1960 ). Think the parts tractor was a 654. Will check but don't think I have an extra set.

Heat shield can be purchased on ebay fairly cheap. Just do a search. Will be getting one myself soon. Believe it is a reproduction...but could be wrong.

I searched ebay for Wheel Horse Heat Shield but nothing comes up that looks correct. How do you find it?

Sorry, the auction already ended. The ebay user is horse854. The shield was a reproduction made from aluminum. Don't know if the person is a member on here or not but someone might know who it is.

Here's a link to the RedSquare links section, lots of good stuff. Under decals click on Norms Toys. Not sure if he still makes the heat shields or not but give him a call. There's also some tire sites to find some new skins too.
