Engine Horse Power Decal

Recommended Posts

MikesRJ

Some of the earlier Kohler engines had the following decal along with the separate oval HP number decal mostly installed above this one. I know this decal was certainly on pre-1970 Kohlers.

I believe the year-break for the single decal was in the early 70's. It could have been right at 72 if memory serves.

I am also sure the '73 Kohler K241 used this decal with a 10 HP at the top.

How about a 1965 855/875 K-181 decal? (found on S/G belt guard):

It appears Kohler used the same "follow the book to the letter" way of production WH did ...

Feedback please.

It's not clear if you got all of the samples you were looking for but I have a decent picture of the stickers on the K301 on my '85 312-8:

Let me know if you want me to measure the dimensions.

Thanks for your work in this area.

Terry,

Since you're working on Kohler engine decals, how about these four? These are nearly impossible to find. I only wish I had better shots of the alternator three. Perhaps someone else has clearer shots of those.

Anglo Traction

Like Mike, I've been searching for the same Engine Decals.

Not wishing to prevent Terry from producing the Air Filter Instructions shown in Mike's photo, but RCPW list this Decal as an Authorised reproduction under the Kohler part# of 25 113 07-s.. for $1.39. ......no luck on the others.

I have to say  for producing these so far. I'll be looking to place an Order for a few Sets for Tractor and Engine next month.
