JBsDeere 0 #1 Posted October 10, 2010 I have a '71 800 with HH80 engine, series 4 carb. replaced the gaskets on the jets and mounting point, but now the bowl is leaking fuel quite profusely. None of the brick & mortar stores seem to stock the large bowl gasket for this carb. Also probably need the tiny blue float needle gasket that sits way up in the carb (if i can figure out a way to fish it out) I dont know if it's leaking but I have no tool small enough to fit in there. Can anyone give me the part number to the gasket so I can search for this online?
Buzz 502 #2 Posted October 10, 2010 I'm not sure if you can buy those parts separately. you might have to buy a kit. Sit down before you look at the kits price from Partstree : http://www.partstree.com/parts/?lc=tecumse...M1201110112D-EN Hopefully someone will know the individual part numbers. wheel-mule 46 #3 Posted October 12, 2010 I think the gasket number is 27109 and the needle and seat is number is 631021B or 631736.You can call Maple Grove Dist. at 1-800-356-0331.Have your model and spec numbers and they can look them up and ship them to you with credit card payment. Kelly 1,033 #4 Posted October 12, 2010 As for getting the rubber seat out if you have a air compressor, blow air in the fuel inlet, it will pop right out, but watch it, it will fly out never to be seen again if your not careful.
JBsDeere 0 #5 Posted October 16, 2010 Thanks. I did nearly soil myself when i saw the price of the float needle and seat kit. LOL. I ended up taking the carb to a local WH / Toro dealer to confirm the part #s and ordered the parts from them for about the same price as online. Just gotta wait for them to arrive. This grass is gonna be up to my yingyang before I get it running again
