MaineDad 85 #1 Posted October 3, 2010 Guys, On my C120, the fuel pump starts to leak a bit because the small pin vibrates out so that one side is open. I can use a small punch in drive it back in. I hate to go with a new plastic pump, so should I try to do a JB weld on both sides of the pin so it does not come out? Thoughts and thanks... Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
tbbahner 27 #2 Posted October 3, 2010 I had the same problem on one of mine. I placed the pump with the pin on the corner of my vice, took the punch and carefully gave it a couple good raps. It kind of mushroomed the ends of the pin and sealed it up. I put some JBW on for good measure, been working , no leaks for over a year. Just don't let the punch slip and damage the pump.
