Lawn Ranger -gas tank grommet

I am looking for a repalcement grommet to go on a couple Lawn Rangers and wondered if anyone has a source for something similar to the old rubber grommet (Part No. 2767 in the 1967 Lawn Ranger manual/IPL list) which is listed as a 2 1/2 inch rubber grommet.

I don't need an original but soemthing similar from a new source.

You will find that the rubber grommets like those are much thicker than the originals used around the filler neck.

That doesn't mean that they won't work, but they may interfere in the removal of the cap, etc.

I have puchased H60 3 amp diodes from Mouser to make replacement rectifer boards for the Tecumseh H-60 motors!

If that's the one I think it is, the cheapest source I've heard of is a John Deere dealer. :)
