First Salvage OP

Recommended Posts

YNOT

My first attempt at salvaging a truly nice machine.

Picked this up a few months ago, not running, in really sad shape.

Paint was shot, everything that the PO could have neglected was.

I remember cleaning it and i removed 30 gallon trash bag of old grass clippings from the center console alone.

So after sand blasting all panels, painting, numerous problems (which by the way were all resolved through reading this forum, Thank You All) with hydro, electrical and such. here she is.

Not a full frame up, rattle can paint (really good rattle can job), all maintenance items addressed, no issues of any kind.

Do you have a before pic ? That tractor looks great! :)

I probably have to say those C-175s are about my favorite tractor. Especially when those ugly plastic fender pans is changed out to the metal.

Thank everyone, I was inspired by all of your great restores.

The plastic fender was the first thing to go, thanks to mike (MRM).

Next project is 1979 C81-8, full restore on this one, I'll make that really nice.

Thanks again everyone.

Oct 17 looks good so far for fall meet and greet at our house.

Get ready folks, LOTS of LEAVES

Tony
