TT-(Moderator) 1,129 #2 Posted September 12, 2010 It's supposed to be WH #1583 - which is (roughly) a 3/8" wide by 31.5" long V belt. If you attempt to find one at an auto parts store, try either a 3V315 or a 3V310 (a little shorter). Sometimes there's enough pulley groove wear that the original belt is a bit too long. Retired Wrencher 4,909 #5 Posted September 12, 2010 :USA: I just looked the belt # that is on the 857 is a kohler belt and it is 231605df the gen is about 1/2 way up towards the tank I do not know if this is the wright belt but it does work fine.and I did buy from a W/H dealership. so ?? i hope this helps.
