Starter stuck on

Torino

'69 Electro 12hp kohler. Starter will not quit running even with the switch in the off position. Switch and solenoid less that a year old. :)

Save Old Iron

Disconnect the "small wire" from the starter solenoid. If the starter disengages, its a bad switch.

If not, then the solenoid is toasted.

Thank you sir. I just had the same issue on my 520-H. Ordering a switch. 

Before I figured out what that God awful noise was (it randomly kicked in while I was driving) I thought my engine had blown after 12 hours.
