Could anyone please provide a drawing or description of how to attach the hood hinges on my GT 14. I checked the Toro site and the parts look up doesn't cover the hood.

thanks

Mike there are no hinges on a 69' GT14. Only small latches( I think thats what I want to call them) small pieces of metal that go around the tower, the hood slides in place with these latches sliding underneath of the steering tower There are four differnt pieces of metal one on each side and two across the top. Then you latch the hood down with the front hood latch locking it down to the front grille . I hope this makes sense. See Ya, Bye

Mike, thats for 70' thru 73' I believe. The model # for 69' is 1-7441 if I remember correctly. Two different types of setups. See Ya, Bye

Mike,

I found the ipl and drawing for the 69' on the Miliaca web site. It shows the little bars and clips.

Mike, I will snap a couple pictures tomorrow evening after I get off of work. The tabs have actually been welded to the hood itself. I don't think brazing will work but it might be a possibilty. See Ya, Bye
