PTO running all the time

Recommended Posts

I leave my pto on all the time since it doesn't have anything to run anyway. I figure thats gotta be easier on the brg in there since it isn't turning on the shaft....

Save the needle bearing, wear out the thrust bearing. I wouldn't leave it running for safety sake. The fewer moving parts that are exposed, the better.

If you are not going to be using it for a long time, you could just take it off until you need it again.

Lets put a 48" deck on that ole horse....that will answer your question....I think I have a red deck and a "green" deck...which one do you want? :)

I thought you told me you had a new 42 incher somewhere over there. I really need a decent little sulkey for the boss to ride on more than anything......
