DMK855 15 #1 Posted August 23, 2010 Put a newer style blade on my 69 Charger 12 today for some dirt work, but have some issues with how it fits. I am having problems with the plow hitting the footrest on the PTO side of the tractor. Also, I can not pivot the plow without it the pivot arm hitting the foot rest or the PTO on the engine. My main question is, what axle bracket needs to go on the tractor?? My 1055 and 607 have brackets that actually put the rear plow attaching point to the front side of the axle. My Charger and 855 have brackets that put it right under the middle of the axle!?!?! Also, I had to remove the attach a matic plate off of the pto side because of the idler pulley for the mower deck. Is that normal?? I now know why the Charger came with an off brand plow!! So much easier to install, just not tough!! Plus manual pivot!!!! Here is the plow in question...... If that helps!!
