bigben 0 #1 Posted April 8, 2008 Who has the most hours/miles on there Wheel horse?
T-Mo-(Moderator) 4,610 #2 Posted April 8, 2008 I think that would be hard to gauge. Most of the older Wheel Horses didn't have hour meters, and those that did, some didn't worked. I would think that there are a lot of Wheel Horses out there with a lot of hours on them. I know my 1979 C-141 has a lot of wear on it, but I not sure how much as I bought it used. Now my newer '98 314-8 has about 290 hours on it as it has a workable hour meter. I got it last August used, so who's to say even those hours are accurate. http://www.wheelhorseforum.com/index.php?...ic=124&hl=314-8 http://www.wheelhorseforum.com/index.php?...ic=110&hl=314-
Duff 206 #3 Posted April 8, 2008 Got 970 hours on my '89 312-8, and that's with six years spent sitting unused in a dusty garage before I inherited it. Runs like a Swiss watch!
Sparky-(Admin) 23,169 #4 Posted April 9, 2008 My "89" 312-8 has 1061 hours and the 418-A has 1905 hours. Dont forget that the hour meter is NOT an engine hour meter but rather an "ignition on meter". As long as the key is "on" the meters runnin even with the engine off. Mike...........
