weird tractor but a horse

i just picked up a 1-0385 c 160 that i thought someone put a tecumseh on when i got it but it apears to be factory and when i looked it up on my chart it is factory i thought the tecumseh was only used in the last 60`s and maybe 70 any thoughts on this
