D-160 rear hitch

Recommended Posts

Shuboxlover

I am curious.....

So the rear hitch for my "littler" garden tractors i.e. C-160, GT-1642 etc...are to hook up a front blade or rear tiller, I understand this because I've seen them alot...

As for my D-160 though, is the rear hitch ONLY used for the front dozer blade (since the tiller is hooked up to the 3 point) or does the tiller somehow utilize the rear hitch also?

just wondering.....

Thanks

Hi on the d's the tillers have to have the 3pt on the tractor to use them! :) :USA:

Don't forget the grader blade hooks up to the same hitch as front blade and tiller.

maybe I worded my question too ambiguously....

Does the tiller for a D series tractor use the rear hitch like the front dozer blade would? :)

Nope. D's tiller uses the three point. That rear hitch under the axle on a D would be for grader blade [mid] and the front dozer/snow blade.

Alright, thanks guys.....I appreciate it. What holds it (rear hitch) on, it there only four nuts/bolts like the "littler tractors"?

The "big uns" bolt/clamp to front of axle the "littler" ones it clamps under axle.
