fireman 1,022 #1 Posted August 13, 2010 Saw the ad on CL yesterday and went to look at it today. Well it made the trip home with me. Came from the original owners son and was only used to mow. Has a 60" deck. Been stored indoors it's whole life. All original with no rust. Plastic fenders have no cracks! 981 hours. No oil leaks anywhere! Pictures to follow!!! fireman 1,022 #10 Posted August 14, 2010 Wasn't me. This came from Marlboro, NY. I was on I-84 and the Newburgh-Beacon Bridge with a smile on my face the whole way home . I was looking through some old threads last night and found one by Dustin (DMESS) who wrote that there were only 501 of the 1982 & 1983 C-195s produced. That makes me even prouder to own one of them :)
stevebo-(Moderator) 8,534 #11 Posted August 14, 2010 Jeff, If/when you sell that one I want to be the official "first" in line. If I was not saving my pennies for a backhoe machine that would be here in New Milford. Glad you got it as I know it will be in safe keeping :)
jwilbt 0 #12 Posted August 14, 2010 Wow Fireman, It hadn't occurred to me to post (new to the board) when I picked up a new Horse but on Tuesday I made almost the same trip, across the Newburgh-Beacon bridge anyway, to meet a fellow from CT with my new C-195. (We must be emptying that area of nice tractors)! Mine had 770 hrs but no 3 pt assembly, yet. I'm going to have to start fabricating myself soon as nothing seems to be turning up for those pieces. Congrats on the new acquisition!

I will post mine when I get home...working for the second weekend in a row! :)

C-Series14 15 #20 Posted August 14, 2010 Don't use the serial number...you use the number "2132", that says it was built on the 132 day of 1982...
