TT-(Moderator) 1,128 #3 Posted August 13, 2010 Help me out.... R-26? One of the rear-engined rider models "inherited" by Wheel Horse when they bought Reo. Similar to this one: http://www.wheelhorseforum.com/index.php?showtopic=924
Jim_M 178 #4 Posted August 13, 2010 It's a small rear engine rider with a 2 speed transmission and a Tecumseh vertical shaft engine. I used to have one. I could lift the front end up on the tailgate of my truck, then go to the back and lift the back end up and load the thing by myself with no ramps. Despite the fact that you rarely see them, they don't seem to be worth a lot. If the price is right, I would buy it. They're fun little machines.

CasualObserver 3,406 #6 Posted August 13, 2010 The R-26 was the 2nd generation after Wheel Horse bought REO.. slight body change. An R-26 will fit in a 4 wheeled wagon.... makes for nice storage and transport. This is mine.

tommy3horse 3 #8 Posted August 14, 2010 Hello and I have seen several in my area go for around $100-150. Good luck on yours. Is that a 4 wheel wagon its riding in? Tom :USA:
CasualObserver 3,406 #9 Posted August 14, 2010 I gave 50 for the one you see in the pictures... three or four years ago. Not running, but I've not tried anything more than pulling the rope a couple times.... and that was three or four years ago! Just never got back to it. Maybe someday.
