TerryJW 0 #1 Posted August 9, 2010 There is a fuse box on my WH but no fuses in the holders. The tractor runs ok without these but would like to know if they are needed and for what purpose. Also the cover is missing to the fuse box would anyone have one. Any help much appreciated. Thank you Attached Image
DMK855 15 #2 Posted August 9, 2010 Terry, the fuses are for the charging system. The diode cover is available from a RS vendor, GlenJeri. Here is the link. Bottom left of the first picture. http://www.wheelhorseforum.com/index.php?showtopic=6177
JUSS10 250 #3 Posted August 9, 2010 they actually aren't fuses. they are for diodes. they turn the AC voltage created by the motor into a non regulated DC voltage to charge the battery.
Eriks Red horse herd 43 #4 Posted August 9, 2010 you can still get diodes at older radio supply stores if you have any around your area.
