42" deck spindle

Please help,

I need the part diagram for the 42" triple blade grass cutter deck.

The center spindle nut has striped the threads for blade attachment. The deck does have a model sticker, but the pervious owner must have wiped the text off of it.

Any assistance would be gratefully appreciated in finding the deck model no. A spindle part number or a reputiable part supplier would be great.

If your tractor is Mid 80's to 93 it is probably the 05-42MS04.

If it is a newer than 1993 it is this one. 78345

The newer deck has a different shaft in the housing, smaller ID pulley, and no key like the older style.

I've rebuilt the older assembly's for around $65 when I had to replace the shaft.
