Cessna 1 #1 Posted August 3, 2010 Today I checked the steering column on the GT1142 that seemed to jump a notch and made noise when turned hard left. I inspected the bushing to the rear of the battery. The metal that holds the bushing in place was bent. I used a block of wood and a hammer and flattened it its original flatness. I will check the steering after lunch today. I also greased the gear near the steering fan and lubed the tie rods. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
