Hello, My Name is Tim and my Dads Friend let me buy his Wheel Horse mower.! IT is the first I have ever owned and I am excited to find this site. Hopefully someone can tell me what I have.!!

It looks like a Suburban to me, but I'm not sure which one. Some of the experts will nail it down for ya, I'm sure. Some of these guys are amazing at identifying horses. :thumbs: :D

That's a 1960 suburban 400 or 550 with the motor changed. The 400 would originally have had a pull start Kohler K91 and the 550 would have been a Tecumseh H55 with electric start. Basically the same tractor with a different motor. Looks to be in good shape and a nice find. Too bad they cut the hood when they added that motor.
