closha63 0 #1 Posted August 1, 2010 Well i bought my 8th wheel horse at the last show. It is a Charger 12 hydrostatic. Now when i purchased it i tried to start it but it did not. I had to add a coil and some other small pieces i had laying around. I got it to run but it ran really rough and would smoke something terrible. I removed the engine and have done a complete rebuild and paint. Now some of the throttle linkage and governor pieces look home made and i want original pieces. If someone has a charger 12 with a K301 i would love to see some pictures and or any K301 set-up........ Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

closha63 0 #4 Posted August 2, 2010 Thanks for the pictures but i am still unsure if the parts i have will work. They seem to be the same as in your pictures but they rub on the flywheel shroud and the linkage binds. Also is their a way to bring it through the shroud and head. Between the two.
