C-175 Hydraulics.

I don't know which line or what blew but something did. The implement wouldn't stay up and when I operated the lift/lower handle, oil would leak.

I'm replace rebuild parts #2 and #8 since that's all I can really find. I don't know if the guts of the #7 control valve is rebuidable. Haven't seen anything to indicate it although there are nuts and bolts for it.

The 3 #2 o-rings are torn up. I guess I'll have a hydraulics shop build the hoses.

Anything else I should know?

Would part #21 be for the oil filter or for behind the oil filter mounting bracket?

Thanks.

Butch

Eldon has sourced the o-rings and is offering kits for the control valves from that era.

#21 is the grommet that installs in the hole in the left side of the hoodstand. (where the 4 hoses pass through - going to and from the control valve)

Aside from keeping your work environment "operating room clean", remember to inspect the cylinder bore for scratches and oil everything generously prior to reassembly.
