MalMac 1,332 #1 Posted July 30, 2010 I have got a 520H that I am thinking of repowering with a Kohler Mag.14. The Kohler came out of a 314-8 with only 130hrs on it. The question is, other than not having the the power of the Onan. Will it work on the 520? I know the wiring and the PTO is different I was wondering what else might be a big headache and is it worth the trouble. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Kelly 1,033 #3 Posted July 30, 2010 wiring is about the only thing that will be diff. the PTO will fit,(you might need a bottom bracket) the pulley will be the same if the 314 was a hydro, if not they will swap, belt guard is the same, cables should work you may have to shorten them, the belt is the same, heck even the 314 muffler will work for you, biggest thing is the wiring, and that is not that hard, most will work with minor mods Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
