kj4kicks 154 #1 Posted April 3, 2008 Hi Guys, Just sold the other 160. The buyer is a good friend of the dealer dude, and also happens to be a local cop. He bought a C100 8 speed that has a FEL on it. Low range doesn't work, so I bet it's not much fun. He's coming over tomorrow night so we can do the swap. So I guess the good news is that the machine that had a FEL on it all it's life, will have one on it again. I'll get some pics as we go along, and also give him his free lifetime membership to RedSquare!

TT-(Moderator) 1,162 #5 Posted April 4, 2008 That's great, Eldon! Just make sure he knows that there are no free donuts included in the RedSquare membership package. I guess you won't be needing those spindles then ?
kj4kicks 154 #6 Posted April 4, 2008 Thanks guys ! Siggy updated TT, don't hide those spindles yet. The ones on his old tractor may be bent. Still need those other parts we discussed. Anybody have a cheap 8 speed tranny for sale? I may take his old C100 on trade.
TT-(Moderator) 1,162 #7 Posted April 4, 2008 OK..... They'll be right here, Eldon. I have an 8 speed out of a 1986-ish 417 that has a bad differential and a hole in the bottom of the case. (if you want to try to fix yours) You'll probably find that the hi-lo shift fork is bent or broken in the C-100 trans, so you might be able to fix it instead of replacing the whole transmission.
Rod(NASNUT) 1 #8 Posted April 4, 2008 I have an 8 speed also I think it is off a 197? raider 10 it worked fine the last time it was run.
kj4kicks 154 #9 Posted April 5, 2008 I'm going to let him keep his C100 to play with. Thanks for the offers though, guys. Here's the C160 with the Ark Loader: I have to tell you, I'm not at all impressed with the Ark loader. Seems very flimsy, especially compared to the WH brand one. No cross brace across the top. The attaching mount in the front hits the grille. I had to put some foam tape on the mount to save the paint on the hood. Well, at least now it's more stable on a tractor with a wider front end. Most importantly, he's very happy with it.

T-Mo-(Moderator) 4,610 #11 Posted April 6, 2008 Was there a loader on that C? All I saw was that awesome looking C160 and the awesome paint job again.
