Tires for a Wheel Horse GT 14

Recommended Posts

The rear tires are 27X9.50-15, the front are 16X6.50-8. The rear tires are hard to find. Also, I don't know the range of tires that will fit. I have no specs to go on, only what is on the old tires. Can anyone help?

Hi and :D

I use a place here called Pomp's Tire service. They specialize in garden tractor, golf cart, etc. tires. I don't know if they are national, but they are in at least 2 states...Wisconsin & Illinois. You could call and ask them or maybe they will ship.

Pomp's Tire Service, Inc

216 N, state St.

Elgin, Ill. 60123

Hope that helps...enjoy the site.

Remember in a pinch car or truck tires will fit on the rear, just match up how tall they are, if your not mowing a nice set of snow tires might work nice.

Your fronts should be 18x6.50x8. Be careful because not all tire sizes are the same. I use these guys http://www.millertire.com/ . They will hook you up.
