dgjks6 8 #1 Posted July 23, 2010 I am in the process of restoring a c85. Its a long story, but I think I want something that can pull a 48 inch deck. What is better a refurb 14hp K series or a new Command Pro 15hp that would go on a 315-8? The new one is going to be a couple hundred more, but if its a better engine I would consider it. The K series will last a lot longer but eventually (probably several years) down the road parts will be harder to get, as the K series is no longer being built. Personally, I would get the K series.
