36" Tiller question

Recommended Posts

All,

I have an opportunity to buy a tiller for my 312-8. I went buy the seller's place and looked at the tiller and noted that I could turn the pulley 3~4" before the tines started to move. Is this "OK"

Thanks

Francis

Francis, I just got the tiller hooked up this spring on my 314-8. I was wondering the same thing. It is a big pulley but when you put the belt on it's going to turn faster than you would think. I am no expert but if the tines spin freely and are in good condition I think you should be ok. Kevin
