B-8074 19 #1 Posted July 19, 2010 I found a nice Charger 12 with hydro and a really nice side discharge deck. The hydro fluid was real clean also. The only thing it needs is rewired. I was wondering if my plow off my 74 B-80 would fit that tractor and if the hydros are good for pushing dirt and snow? I'm gonna pick it up later today and I'll post some picks then.
rickv1957 70 #2 Posted July 19, 2010 Charger is a long frame,B80 is a short frame, maybe your plow has the blade frame for both ,Rick
B-8074 19 #3 Posted July 19, 2010 The plow and frame I have mount to the rear axle and the lift handle.
rickv1957 70 #4 Posted July 19, 2010 Some of the blades were made so you could remove the pin that goes into the rear attach to another set of holes in blade frame to allow blade to be used on both short and long frame tractors,Rick

Ken B 3,116 #6 Posted July 20, 2010 This video of our Electro 12 (it is a Charger 12 but has electric PTO) will give you a very good idea of how a Charger 12 is in the snow. Get it if the price is right for you. http://www.youtube.com/user/Feathercrafter#p/u/7/OSbaHkb0OqY
DMK855 15 #7 Posted July 20, 2010 I purchased a Charger 12 a little while back and am very pleased with with it! I am sure you will be happy with it if you get it!! As far as the plow goes, like Rick had mentioned, if you have a plow that fits long and short frame tractors, you will be golden!!
