44 inch d series blade???

i just got a blade for parts for mine for 25 dollars it is on a d frame carrier with 4 springs and all but it is only 44 inches did they make the d blade that small i know of the 56 inch blade

Just checked my source and it does not show a 44" blade. Just the following...

44" deck - 44" spiked harrow - 44" snowblower.

Well, the frame is definitely a large blade frame. What is the measurement between the spring mounts on the backside of the blade?

The decals on each end have been cut short. This was a full width D blade and someone cut it down. Probably so they could drive the tractor through a narrow gate or door opening.

i can get the measure ment today it was on that frame i just took it off since i dont have a d any more and need springs for my blade

the measurement is 8 3/4 inches same as my smaller blades
