Nick 13 #2 Posted July 17, 2010 The KW loaders were fairly large on the classic tractors so should be fine on the big D. I sold a Ford 1220 4x4 compact diesel along with a KW loader to a friend and he had no trouble adapting it to the larger tractor. He had had it several years with no problems. The ark used on the D was larger I believe. Sorry about the blue tractor but gives a bit of scale with the KW on a larger tractor. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Nick 13 #4 Posted July 17, 2010 OK I thought you were going the other way. I think only Ark were used on the D never seen a KW on one anyway. Wish I could remember the model number of the Ark used on a D. Might not help but I have a picture of an Ark 500 for a size reference. Brrly1 1,146 #5 Posted July 17, 2010 Kelly, I have an Ark loader for my GT14. It mounts to the frame. On this tractor I will be able to use the inpend. three point. On Refracmans he has one that mounts to the quick hitchs and you cannot use the three point if I remember correctly. Probably doesn't help, just thought I would offer that information. I think there was a guy this winter who had posted some pictures of a 550 Ark loader mounted on a 161 but don't remember for sure, asking about weights or tires to run, showing how much snow they got hit with.
