8-pinion question

Are all trannys with 1 1/8" axles the "8 pinion good ones"??? :thumbs:

Duane already answered your question in the "Pullers" forum, but I thought I'd add that there were also a few 1 1/8" axle transaxle models built with the automotive-style bevel gear differentials.

To my knowledge, they were either 3 speeds or hydros - not the 6 (or 8) speeds.
