Preference for front tires on a C-101

This machine is used for mowing, plowing, and other kinds work, I am just looking for other members preference.

truf would be the best for mowing but ull want someting more agressive for plowing and what wever else u are doing with it.

I put a set of turf masters on a front mount mower I had as traction tires and it made it unstoppable before it had a set like the turf savers and my bronco has them on the front in my opinion one of the best tires

For day to day use, mowing, towing, pushing etc, I use Turf Savers on the front of all three of my tractors. I also have a JD that is used for a special application and it has Turf Savers front and rear.

I have Turf Masters on the rear of my old B-100 and Turf Savers on the rear of the newly built B-100, and I can't tell any difference, (except price). I used to have Ag lugs on the old B-100 and you couldn't beat them for traction when pulling logs and plowing snow.

But as far as front tires go, I think Turf Savers (for the money) are the best value.

I really like the traction and look of the Carlisle turf-tracs. TSC has em.

Yeah I went to TSC today in New Milford and planned on buying tires for the C-101, but then I thought about it and $70 to $80 dollars for front tires is a little much when only one tire has a slow leak and they both have great tread and no dry rot. So I bought a tube of slime and we will see how it works. I didnt want to spend money if I didnt have to.

id take back the slime and buy a tube for a couple bucks more slim will mess up your wheel and make a @#ll of a mess when you need to change tires or dismount for any reason

Ive always had good luck with slime and never had a problem with it. Never liked messing with tubes but if I get someone else to put it in sometimes use them. :thumbs:
