Is there any kind of isolation fir the Onan 20 HP Engine?? This thing runs great but shakes the tractor. No rubber mounts like the days of old I guess?

The "days of old" were actually solid-mounted engines too. :D

Onan twins are usually quite smooth...... I wonder if you don't have some other sort of issue. Are you sure it's running on both cylinders?

I agree with Terry on this. The 520 with the Onan is one of the smoothest running tractors I own. Check to see if running on both cylinders and then check to make sure the motor bolts are all tight. Good luck-

mid range very smooth, about 3500 RPM's some noticible vibration, couple of aluminum pieces in the oil at the oil change, it has 1125 hours on it, I bought it the way it is and just thought maybe bad gas but I am now wondering if the metal pieces are piston skirts or something major, no knocking or obvious noises?? Motor bolts were loose though. Maybe not a good deal at $1000.00 but the hydro is a real powerhouse
