Now I know you folks wonder some times about the ideas for Wheel Horse Show that I come up with and what's with all the hoopla about a parade ..... well I'll tell ya'.

Being this Annual Wheel Horse Show is the 10th year and with Cecil and Betty Pond attending at 85 years young when this parade starts I will dedicate the parade to him and his wife for the contributions they have made that enriched our lives. I do have several groups working on ideas for the parade and I believe this event will set the standard for a lot of tractor shows for years to come!

As for the other ideas like the Cruise Night ..... I work hard at my job just like the rest of you do and when I am not working I just want to cut loose and have FUN!!!

I'll agree Mr Bill works his tail off to make a top notch show...not too many guys willing to pull a woman on a WH down the road with a log chain over his shoulder!

Now Bill, I know you are always looking for "added attractions" for the show and I think I mentioned it once before on the yahoo group, but here goes........there is a black and white pic in the Wheel Horse book that always gets lots of comments when I show my book (autograghed by Mr Pond 2006) to my WH buddies.

Now figuring that pic was probably taken in the 1960's and the subject was probably about 20 years old, that would mean the subject would be about my age and still living.......

So for a "special feature" at the parade, maybe u could locate the person in that pic and invite em' to da BIG SHOW.....now u would have to provide a WH for em to ride on, but I'm bettin Eldon could bring one like the WH in the black and white pic.

So there ya go....if I can help let me know.

PS ....for ya guys and gals that have never seen the WH book or looked at the pictures, I am not going to tell ya any more except the pic is black and white.

PPSS: maybe Jerry could provide free lodging for this guest, but ya got to improve ur dinner menu.....I'm betting this guest would like a glass of "fine wine"

I'm with GlenJeri... 50 years and gravity can do HORRIBLE things. Now if you want to re-create the image with a new model.... well.... that'd be a whole different story!

That does remind me though... I got my copy of the book for Christmas a few years back from the in-laws.... my wife still gives them heck for giving me a "nudey" book for christmas!!

Hey guys I am with Thirdroc. Once you guys do grow older ya just don't pay any attention to the dumb stuff. I vote for same attire, with all of the plastic surgery they do now who knows what she would look like or maybe she even has a grand daughter. John :thumbs:
