C-120 rear hitch question

Recommended Posts

brider

Looking at my rear hitch and pics of others here, why is it designed with so much clearance on the big pin side-to-side where it's mounted to the axle housing? It obviously can slide along this clearance, is this a design feature, or should I insert spacers to take up the space like I was going to do?

Also, what is the best source for one of those hitch ball-mount attachments, so's i can move my woodsplitter around?

Your rear hitch should have a spacer on each side allowing only 1/4" or so side play,Rick
