how to tell what year my wheel horse is

Its is a round hood. but it does not have the belt guard . and all i have is the serial number . Which is 40742 . Can anyone tell me what year it is? . Thanks

i can start by saying its a 63 to 64 and appears to be either a 633, 653, 753, or 754 or 854 from what i can tell due to the gas tank and battery tray, but I'm still new at this game

a nice bonus is the back rest and lights as those were accessories

If the steering wheel has not been changed it's a 64 and I'm leaning to a 854 as the way the hood fits, hangs over the front of the frame a little more, measure the hood on top from the front of the tank to the seam at the front of the hood the 854 is 1" longer than the rest.

I'm not sure if the 754 used the long hood???

And the head lights are kinda orig, they look like the style lights they used but yours are mounted diff. than the factory set up.

The pictures are a little pough but the tractor appears to be a 1964 model 854 due to the rear hubs which are 5 lug hubs.
