DMK855 15 #1 Posted July 4, 2010 I just purchased a 607 and would like to convert the hh60 to electric start. What parts will interchange with that motor to convert it over? I know I will need a starter, flywheel, flywheel housing, and stator assy. Anything else?? Is it worth doing?? Thanks, Dwayne
pfrederi 18,703 #2 Posted July 4, 2010 You will also need the fuse and rectifier panel that limits the charge to the battery from the stator.

sorekiwi 761 #4 Posted July 4, 2010 You might want to check if your HH60 block has the starter mounting holes in it. I have a block that I was going to use, but the holes werent there, and the cast in bosses where the holes needed to be were unmachined, so it would have involved working out how much to shave off them, milling them down, and then putting the holes (and threads) in. I lost interest and put a Kohler in instead!
