JUSS10 250 #1 Posted July 3, 2010 well for the 4th we always go to family for a big breakfast. well my uncle just happens to have a field outback that hasn't been turned in a few years. so i loaded up all the round hoods and after breakfast was over, me and my younger cousins hopped on the tractors and started doing a little field work. i must say, i am VERY impressed with these tractors. i had tried to plow with my 603 the other day which went ok but i had a hard time keeping the front end down and the plow sucking in enough. well this week i put the AG tires on the back of the 854 and then built a custom front weight mount that utilizes the attachamatic system up front and then a set of holes on the front of the frame. added 60lbs of weight and it made a world of a difference. also tweaked the plow a little and wow it worked great. it would cut right through the sod and fold it over with about a 6 inch deep furrow. my cousin followed me with a disc behind the 704. hope to grow some rye in there for fall deer season. here are some pictures. i will get a close up of my plow rig once i load it off the trailer.
