truckin88 104 #1 Posted July 1, 2010 We had a huge landscape project at my house, that is why I did not make the show. The 310-8 and the C-120 worked their butts off, yorking, rolling, carting, and grading. 60+ plants and trees, 30 yards of soil, 10 yards of river rock, 100 bags of mulch. Concrete and pavers were done a while ago, rented some help too. These are only some of the pics. 2 weekends of 15 hour days. The Rented help was a Komatsu PC35, Case 60XT skidsteer, and a Toro Dingo The Help: Getting ready: wife using C-120 to york Night skidsteer: Cleanup: End Result: packing in:

truckin88 104 #6 Posted July 1, 2010 thanks we did it all except the black top and concrete. Here is the pic of the patio before the landscaping around it. We also built the berms of the driveway with modified and finished in river rock.
truckin88 104 #7 Posted July 1, 2010 also put a french drain in, wish I had pics but the 48" snow blade does a great job of finish grade. We were able to get all the plants at about 60% below retail as a local nursery has an auction once a month in summer to move inventory. I went a little giddy at the auction, luckily my ebst friends works for penske and got us a truck....that was the start.
stevebo-(Moderator) 8,534 #8 Posted July 1, 2010 Will, That "patio" as you described it lokks like a very nice start to a horse barn slab..... Good job making the wife believe it is a patio....
truckin88 104 #9 Posted July 1, 2010 horse barn is going to the right of it, there is still driveway and yard to the right of it. half horse barn half pool house...behind where the trailer is in the pic with the two horses....she lets me buy some cool toys, she gets a pool...next year though...I gotta get more side work...anyone in the tri state need a computer consultant the patio is for the tiki bar.... once the privacy fence between the driveway and patio is up, like I said big project. The only reason new construction stinks is nothing is done.
