clintonnut 126 #1 Posted June 28, 2010 It started out with my 14yo cousin who wanted a clinton to build with his dad. We built him a kit to put together. After that was done they wanted something to do with it so we found them a suburban on the way back from the Steam O Rama 5 years ago. We restored the tractor and surprised them with it at a lake resort family reunion in Kentucky. I'll dig pictures up of that tractor later in the week. Last week my 12 yo cousin called me saying he wanted a wheel horse. His friend had them and he wanted one. I just said I would keep an eye out for one at the show. Yesterday I got a call and he said he got a 1960 wheel horse for $230. I asked them to send me pics of it and here it is! It is actually a 1963 753 . Looks pretty clean! Has brackets for an HY-3 which I will trade them for that and a clinton they have for a lift arm, wheel weights, manual and maybe culitvator They want to find the original Kohler K161. Cant tell whether it has a briggs or techy. Runs though! I wrote them a long email last night giving them info on the tractor and I closed it with once you have a horse you are hooked! clintonnut 126 #7 Posted June 28, 2010 Going to see them this weekend. They live on the end of Long Island. Suprised there are horses out there. I pulled a wheel horse cart out of the dump by their house! Just found out it has a 3hp techy. Thanks for the comments! Charlie
Ken B 3,189 #8 Posted June 28, 2010 Looks great Charlie. Awesome that your cousins are into it also. I been all over Long Island. There are more farms there than you can shake a stick at, the horse's will come in handy!

CasualObserver 3,411 #11 Posted June 29, 2010 Charlie, you're going about it wrong.... get him into a different color, so you don't have to share the red. That way, any off-color ones you find can go his way, and any good ones he can send your way. Win-win.
