Operator 7 #4 Posted June 25, 2010 Nice looking unit! Oil leaks from where abouts? Steering a little loose, check bolts but I'm sure there is a lot of stress with loader. Nice big grass area! That a yard? Or just a big grass area Randy

That a yard? Or just a big grass area Randy Thanks.... I can't really pin point where the oil is coming from yet....I am pretty sure it's engine oil, there may be a little hydro fluid leaking too, but I think it is mainly engine oil. The dip stick tube isn't super tight, but I don't think that much oil could leak out of there. I don't really know how to find out where it's leaking from. Does the hydro oil reservoir (left side upright) get pretty hot after using it for awhile? As far as the steering, there isn't that much slop in it, it kind of seems like when you have a bad power steering pump in a car, hard to turn the wheel...more so when there is a load in the bucket, but it's even noticeable when the bucket is empty. As far as the grass, that's my back yard.....all irrigated....along with that much in the front....I irrigate about an acre and a half, but with ALL the rain we've been getting this spring/summer (7.5" above normal for June) I haven't even turned on my sprinklers yet. The 60" deck on the 520 make short work of all I have to mow....of all the horses I've bought, that one by far was my wisest choice, it saves me SOOOOO much time!!!!! rickv1957 75 #6 Posted June 25, 2010 Give tractor a good power washing, then see if you can spot leaks,a D tractor with a loader steers hard so lube up zerks ,steering box and check thrust bearings on spindles at bottom side of axle,Rick

That worked on my 200. Pressure wash Just don't do it on a hot motor, and then dry in air. Randy
