hcminis 1,532 #1 Posted June 22, 2010 Well, most of you have seen my four-year-old driving my suburban. So, since he won't let me drive why not pull me. Purchased this old Jacobson golf green reel mower that had a Wisconsin motor with sulky. Let my neighbor use the motor for his Sears Suburban and I did a quick repaint on the sulky. Got tired of walking around with my son so I let him pull me now. Sorry for the bad video. Ole Dad being pulled

jpmcleod 4 #3 Posted June 22, 2010 Not that your sulky is anything less then nice, an old saying is "A raggady ride beats a sporty walk". I built a small trailer to pull behind my tractor and my wife rides on a seat mointed to it. We use it when we go nto shows so we don't have to walk. You should do the same with yours. Your's would be a nice combo.

Ken B 3,116 #9 Posted June 22, 2010 Pretty nice, I got one I'm bringin to the Big Show.
Buzz 502 #10 Posted June 22, 2010 Nice D.J., but take a lesson from Ken B. and put a backrest on it. It only takes a second of inattention for him to pop the clutch, or hit a rut and you going over backwards. Most of us who go to a lot of shows have seen it happen more than once. squonk 39,037 #11 Posted June 22, 2010 Don't let anyone sit on it when it's not connected to the tractor! OOPS!!
MikesRJ 552 #13 Posted June 23, 2010 Now the trick is getting the wife to ride on it.
