JUSS10 250 #1 Posted June 21, 2010 can anyone tell me what model plow this is and for what tractors it would fit? thanks Justin
whfan74 2,071 #2 Posted June 22, 2010 Not quite sure but would hate to hit an immovable object with that one. No springs!
CasualObserver 3,411 #3 Posted June 22, 2010 I'm going to say home made. Like Scott said, there's no springs, but if you look closer, it looks like you can't even adjust the rake of the blade. The holes are there, but I don't see any way to move the bar. I'd also guess this is going to be mounted right in front of the uni-drive plate in those two holes in the sides of the trans mounting plate. Either that, or it uses that other mounting point in the mid-attachamatic. Be interested in seeing a pic of the other side, and any attempt to mount it to a tractor. JUSS10 250 #4 Posted June 22, 2010 well i'm looking at a tractor and this is the plow that comes with it. is it wheel horse parts at all? like the blade? i mean, its a pretty good deal for what I'm getting but was just wondering if this is even usable. i'm pretty sure it mounts to those two holes in the frame right in front of the transmission plate which kind of scares me... linen beige 15 #5 Posted June 22, 2010 The actual blade just might be Wheel Horse, but the rest of it isn't. Jason, It looks like those blade braces may be adjustable. Kind of looks like a pin running through a tube between the braces.
JUSS10 250 #6 Posted June 22, 2010 how hard would it be to find a set of springs? if i could find those it could be safely useable right?
linen beige 15 #7 Posted June 22, 2010 I have one for my 702 that doesn't have springs. It makes using it as a dirt dozer better than one with springs. But if you're going to plow snow, go slow and don't ram the snow piles.
